Japanese launch of BIOGAMMA®, an anti-cancer agent.

heart failure.

1997 Japanese launch of the penem-type antibiotic FAROM® tablet.

2005 In February 2005, Daiichi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Sankyo Co., Ltd.
announced an agreement to merge into a new company, Daiichi Sankyo Co., Ltd.
